Manalapan Crossing – Residential Housing

Manalapan Crossing is a brand-new special needs independent apartment community in Manalapan, NJ; part of a larger retail/residential complex developed by Cardinale Enterprises. The retail/residential community features 34 one-bedroom apartments as well as supervised residences for residents with developmental disabilities. All apartments are accessible by elevator.

Eligible special needs populations include individuals with physical disabilities/MS, developmental disabilities, veterans, fragile seniors, and individuals/families experiencing challenges.

• The rent is based on Fair Market Rent for the township of Manalapan.
• Housing Vouchers are accepted.

All applications must include proof of special need such as:

• Physician documentation of disability
• Agency documentation of special need population (veteran, DCF, DDD, etc.)

• Please review the definition of those eligible for the Veterans’ preference under New Jersey Law.
• The NJHMFA definition of Special Needs includes the following: individuals with mental illness, individuals with physical or developmental disability, victims of domestic violence, ex-offenders and youth offenders, youth aging out of foster care, veterans, youth, seniors, and individuals with special needs.
