Finding people affordable housing is just the beginning. Once they move in- many residents need assistance to live independently. Employees of PennReach provide assistance to formerly homeless individuals and families, adults with physical/developmental disabilities, mental health challenges and seniors. Job responsibilities include personal assistance to people with physical/developmental disabilities, tutoring on daily living skills, nursing oversight, behavioral management assistance, supportive services coordination, case management and mental health counseling.

PennReach is looking for direct support staff for our various locations. We provide 24-hour care to our residents with developmental disabilities living in beautiful communities throughout all of NJ. To ensure our resident’s success, a dedicated staff of nurses and support staff must be provided.

Full Time/ Part time/ Per Diem positions available. Please state availability and the location you are interested when applying.

Prior experience working in a DDD setting is a plus, however training will be provided.

In general, our direct care staff help ensure that our residents have a successful day every day. Our DSP’s assist with cooking for the residents, assisting with hygiene, facilitating their medication, going out into the community, planning outing events, assisting individuals with doctor’s appointments, and many more everyday items.

PennReach is a non-profit who provides full service/in home care/case management to individuals with special needs. We empower individuals to live in their own apartments in affordable housing developments in the state of New Jersey. Our goal is to not only provide individuals with housing, but to maintain the supports needed to give our residents the life they deserve.
